Rules & Regulations

We are pleased to have you as our guest. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us and that you will return to visit us many times throughout this and coming seasons. Our staff is here to help you. If there is anything we can do to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay for you, please let us know We have set up the following policies in order that we may, with your help, keep our campground the kind of place you will want to visit again. Policies and rates are subject to change without notice.

Refund Policy

In the event that campers need to cancel a reservation, we will refund 80% of the deposit if a cancellation is given 24 hours or more, in advance of the arrival date. If a cancellation is given less than 24 hours in advance, there will be no refund of deposits paid.

NO refunds on holidays.

If a camper is asked to leave for any reason, no refund will be given.

Campstore & Registration

Hours of operation: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Memorial Day Weekend Thru Labor day:
8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday.

In our campstore you will find groceries, ice, camping & RV supplies, games and souvenirs.

Telephone Messages will be taken and may be picked up at the store. Mail may also be picked up in the office.

General Rules

  • Maximum speed limit in the campground is 15 mph. Please keep watch for children playing. Obey the speed limit, please keep the children safe and be courteous to others.
  • Quiet time is between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Please keep all stereos, radios and TVs
    turned down during this time. Any gathering at your site must be quieted so as not to
    disturb other campers. All children should be at their own campsite by 10 p.m.
  • Check-out time is 3 p.m. Due to the fact that we are accepting reservations, checkout times must be adhered to. Please notify the office when vacating your site. Campers who have not vacated their site by checkout time will be charged late fees.
  • Check-in time is 4 p.m.
  • No flying political flags.
  • All rents due by 1 p.m. If your rent becomes past due, your utilities will be turned off and your camper towed to dead storage.
  • Do not move from one site to another without permission from the office so that we can make the proper changes to our records. Do not move picnic tables from one site to another.
  • Campfires are allowed in the rings provided at each site.
  • Please do not display alcoholic beverages in public. They may be consumed at your campsite only. We consider this a family campground and will not, in any way, tolerate any disorderly conduct on the property. This includes but not limited to alcohol, drugs and domestic related incidents.
  • Our sites are designed for only one car per site. All cars and guests must be registered at the office, where they will be issued a pass. There is a guest fee charged for each visitor registered. Please have guests park in designated area. You must show gate pass to clerk when entering. Please check with office for maximum number of vehicles for your site.
  • It is the responsibility of each camper to dispose of his/her own trash in the dumpster up front.
  • You may only store camping gear around your trailer. No camper will have the look of being used as a permanent residence.
  • Defacing any campground property or equipment will not be tolerated.
  • According to Virginia Law, no sink, shower or wastewater is to be emptied on the ground.
  • Approved receptacles must be provided by camper.
  • We have a honey wagon to pump your tanks at your site. See office for more information.
  • Washing cars, trucks or RVs is NOT permitted.
  • Firecrackers, fireworks, firearms or any type of explosives are not allowed in the campground.
  • The health inspector inspects our property approximately every 3 weeks, and your cooperation in keeping your area clean will be appreciated.

Pool Area

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult while in the swimming pool area. No food, gum, glass containers, smoking or alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the pool area.

PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS AND SAFETY OF THEIR CHILDREN. YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR GUESTS!!!

Pets

Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. The pet owner must have the pet under control and quiet at all times. Pets deserve to be cared for properly, and we expect you to make sure this is done. You must clean up after your pet.

Pets are not allowed in or around our cabins.

Laundry

Our laundry will be open 24 hours. Laundry aids maybe found in our campstore. No RV washer/dryers may be used.

In case of emergency please call 911 first and then Camp Host number, 757-439-1360, so we may assist emergency personnel in finding you.
